Managing Director, Jerry Mecoy, has worked on many varied projects from domestic house building and extension through to large commercial refits and complete builds. One of the more impressive projects was the complete rebuild of the rigging on the Cutty Sark at Greenwich, which included some very intricate timberwork. This project won the RIBA Regional Award 2013 also the Carbuncle Cup ahead of five other prestigious projects. Jerry is a qualified master carpenter with vast experience working within listed buildings.
Mecoy Ltd has worked with a number of high-street retailers including Selfridges, Smythsons, John Lewis, White Stuff, and Costa. Completing various works over the years such as shop fits, office renovations, and down to small maintenance contracts.
Acting as principal contractor, Mecoy Ltd continues to work with one of the UK’s biggest education providers on various large-scale projects from the transformation of a landing open viewing space into three new classrooms in the West End of London to the building of a new woodworking shop from the groundworks up to certified completion in a College in North London. We offer a complete turnkey process covering all aspects of the building process.
